I pulled the spindles off of this old head board.
Then, I gave them a coat of a fun orange colored paint. Then I sanded them up a bit.
Next, I added a sprig of green floral to the top with hot glue.
Then, I tied them off with a little green ribbon.
That's it!
Now, if only I could decide where to put 'em.
I know I'm placing them on my piano...
Should I put them in a jar or strewn about? Where would you put them? In the TRASH is not an option!

I am now in a panic because my dh has been using some spindles that I've been saving for a project (when I figure out what to do with them some day!) for stakes to hold trees up! They are from an old crib that fell apart! I sure hope they are still there, because this is great!

ReplyDeleteI saw these BEAUTIES and have been on the hunt for a head board... Found one today but didn't think my hubby would appreciate me spending 25 bucks to break it apart for the spindles... I am still looking I MUST get some of these carrots!
