What the stink...MORE DOORS?!

The cupboard doors are never ending here at the SUITE! Here's an idea if you happen to have a pair like these.

Paint 'em up! I'm in love with this new color addition! I just might have to paint my hair, nails and fancy pants (another name for my workout pants) this same exact color....OOOOOO PURDY!

Here are a few more shots....Oh, and just so you know, I only have two more doors left. Then, the door madness SHOULD be over. That is, until I find MORE:)

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday to ya:)

Cupoard Door Picture Frames

I know y'all are ready to jump back in and get to craftin'! We need to burn off some of those tater calories we ate yesterday, right? Man, THEY WERE SO GOOD! I hope you are enjoying your holiday! I know I am:) Well, I promised a tutorial on these frames I made out of an old cabinet door.
I am keeping my promise...just cause I think you guys are totally FABuLOUS! Here we go:

What you need:

cupboard door
frame
small screw (i used a screw from the hinges that were removed from the door)
craft paint
homemade glaze (1 part black craft paint to 3 parts water) wipe on and quick, wipe off!
Original knob or a cute new one
hardware if you are going to hang your cupboard frame

1. Paint your frame and cupboard door. I painted mine the same color so it looked like one whole frame. The color I used was the cream in the craft paint at Walmart.

2. Sand and glaze. Remember: wipe on with an old rag then, quick wipe off.

3. Add a tooth hook to the back of you cupboard door so you can hang it when you are all done.

4. Center your frame on the cupboard door and mark where you will hang it from.

5. Insert the small screw into the cupboard.

6. Hang your frame from the screw. I made the frame removable so I can easily change out the pictures when I need to. I also painted out the original knob and put it right back into the hole. Easy as PumpkinPIE!.
SO, what are you waiting for? Go pull off those cupboard doors so you can bust out a few of these babies!:) Have fun! Email me if you have any questions.

Happy Thanksgiving!

President Thomas S. Monson shared with us"...do we remember to give thanks for the blessings we receive? Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God’s love.
A grateful heart,...comes through expressing gratitude to our Heavenly Father for His blessings and to those around us for all that they bring into our lives. Someone has said that “feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”

Are you Thankful for something or someone...don't forget to express your thanks today! I'm thankful for all of you. What a blessing you are to me. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving. SmOoches.

Don't forget to go and check out my ornament after your yummy turkey @ Under The Table And Dreaming!
Thank you!:)

Entryway All Done!

I finally finish! I even took about a million pictures. This area has horrible lighting! So, here it is. I do need to finish my hooks. I'm mooching one more hook off my Mom. Just waiting to get it.
I had this extra cupboard door left over from a previous project. I just revamped it into a frame! I will do a tut on how to make them later.

Thanks to Natalie over at Endless Crafting. She redid her entryway and inspired me to redo mine. You should go see all her fun ideas. You would love her:)

Thanks for being here! Come back soon:)

My HOT new bench!

I know the most talented people EVER! One of those fabulously talented people, who has mean wood skills, and super sweet tools that I DO NOT have...DARN IT, made me this HOT new bench. Isn't it SO cute?! Get this, it only took him an hour...WHATEVER!

I plopped her in our entryway for a new look I have been working on. It's not quite ready to be revealed...but, I just couldn't resist sharing my new bench with you!

I painted it Pale Jade by Glidden, sanded it, and went over it with a little glaze to tone it down. LOVE IT!

I love the red and black next to it. SO pretty.

THANK YOU MR. PP, I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It's absolutely perfect. And of course, you already know I think your AWESOME!
